Part of NESEA's BuildingEnergy NYC Wednesday Webinars, this session will discuss the next iteration of the LEED green building certification system (LEED v5) with U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) staff and local experts. The new rating system's structure - and how to engage in it - will be explained. As well, NY State's efforts toward a built environment low-carbon future and NYC’s Local Law 97 will be discussed.

Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and offer insights as they learn more about USGBC’s work to create an end-to-end ecosystem for green buildings, ensuring the built environment is supported in meeting goals from design to operations.
