The first compliance phase for Local Law 97 is imminent and energy upgrades in NYC’s existing buildings are lagging. In order to meet compliance requirements, what kind of upgrades are needed and who will do the work?

Join Urban Green Council and 32BJ for a discussion on the role building operators will play in helping New York buildings meet their carbon reduction goals. Two new analyses will be presented that give context to what NYC energy upgrades will mean for the workforce. The presentations will be followed by a panel discussion that highlights how building operators will contribute to the success of NYC’s decarbonization efforts.
