WISE x DLH: Summer Solstice Celebration
Every year, Building Energy Exchange (BE-Ex) hosts Daylight Hour (DLH), a global social media campaign that strives to promote energy efficiency and celebrate natural lighting by encouraging commercial and home offices to turn off all non-essential lights for one hour and share their participation on social media. On June 24, 2026, participants from all over the world will turn off their lights for one hour, and help BE-Ex reach the goal of 40 Empire State Building’s worth of energy saved in one hour!
To celebrate, join BE-Ex’s Women in Sustainability & Energy (WISE) Series for a fun summer solstice event. The event will feature remarks from DLH sponsor Pearl Street LED Lighting Systems and New York Power Authority. Bring friends or join a team for our lighting-themed trivia and featured summer cocktail.
