EP: 1 Java Building Tour

Join Urban Green Council for a tour of the the largest residential geothermal development in the United States. 1 Java’s geothermal system—featuring 321 vertical closed-loop boreholes drilled to a depth of 499 feet—reduces annual carbon emissions from heating and cooling by 53% compared to conventional residential systems. The building is all-electric, and features low-carbon Ground Glass Pozzolan in the foundation.
