Retrofit Now! Reducing Carbon & Complying with LL97 (Part 4 of 4)
Urban Green Council is offering 'Retrofit Now! Reducing Carbon & Complying With LL97' in four online half-day seminars. Participants must participate in all four sessions to receive seminar credit.
Over the last 12 years, New York City has passed a series of laws addressing energy use in existing buildings, culminating in LL97 (2019) which alone targets almost 60% of the city’s overall square footage. Architects, other designers, building owners, and building managers need to understand the impact of and regulatory compliance requirements for LL97 ASAP.
This seminar series will provide a comprehensive overview of the regulatory environment for attendees and then focus on preparing them to maximize achievable energy use reductions in both retrofits and incremental building renovations. This seminar series will also provide attendees a framework for advising building owners and managers on LL97 requirements that can lead to longer-term relationships that drive even deeper energy use reductions.
Key seminar topics covered: Regulatory and Existing Building Stock Context / Retrofits, Deep Retrofits and Capital Asset Planning / Leveraging Typical Architectural Renovations / Engineering Strategies for Energy Use Reduction / Financial and Technical Assistance.
